I’m tired.
Sometimes I don’t know what to write alongside my photo dairy pictures. I document my days to remember because I’ve always had a terrible memory. I keep this record on my blog mostly for my own benefit and because some of you have expressed that you enjoy my every day pictures, and for that I am very grateful!
All that seems to be buzzing around in my head are letters and nonsense words and tiredness. It’s that time of year when everyone wants and needs something. My lecturers need my assignments, people need their photos, my landlord needs to inspect our home, people need visiting, the garden needs grooming, the house needs cleaning, I need sleep.
Melbourne is always so very busy. Everyone is running and I am running too. I’ve never been a late sort of person until I moved here. I’m not sure if i’m happy. If I were to be completely honest I wish I had every spare moment to take the pictures that I want to create, to document the moments I want to remember, but instead I find myself doing everything that isn’t that. I’m a dreamer, I’ve always been a dreamer. Lately my thoughts are constantly wandering to the days that we can live on the road and nobody will be needing anything from me, and I will not be so tired.
visiting my mother and stopping by my favourite shop (savers). i found these cute sandals and purse.
jasper waiting by the window
rain, rain and more rain (but it makes me ever so happy.)
stormy skies and gumtrees
my mothers garden is a magical place. she moved in to a new home which had a barren backyard, just dirt and stones and one large tree. she’s been wishing for a little veggie garden but works so hard and never could find the time… miraculously things just begun to sprout from the earth without any planting. this is a picture of just one of her large parsley bushes (bigger and healthier than i’ve ever seen!) and some of her pumpkin plant is sneaking into the picture.
beautiful stephanie came to melbourne for grooving the moo festival (we met at falls art camp last december!) so we had a catch up dinner with karlee and a few other lovely ladies at the most wonderful place called veggie bar! (i had the most delicious raw dinner).
meeting possums in the dead of the night. they were surprisingly friendly.
teaching photography walks in the heart of fitzroy
photographing a party at the brunswick hive (i’m shooting a documentary hopefully i can show you all soon!).
most of my days and spent hurrying around the city running errands and meeting people and going from place to place. my little fuji has kept me sane, giving me moments of peace to snap a picture here and there.
