Model: Pauline
Styling: model’s own wardrobe
Creating a fashion shoot on the streets of Paris is a photographers dream. The charm, colours and crooked streets are the most magical backdrop for a photoshoot.
I met Pauline on the steps of Montmartre, she had brought a little suitcase with her filled with her beautiful clothes (this girl has serious style!) and we chatted happily about our passions even with our language barrier (thank goodness Pauline knew some english, my french is non-existent!). It had been a few weeks since I had created something, and it felt really good to be shooting again. Working with Pauline was a dream! She has the most gorgeous features and kind spirit.
I can mark “Fashion shoot on the streets of Paris” off of my bucket list now ❤

These are all really lovely! But somehow I wish she would have had her mouth closed in ONE image atleast. Her faces are all the same in almost every image… perhaps something for her to think about if she wished to have a model career in the future, and something for you to think about as a photographer as you capture faces :/

Hi Rebecka,
Thank you for your constructive criticism. For this shoot we were really just having some fun.
It wasn’t for a client, and we were both there to meet up with another creative in a new city. If I were shooting for a client we would be more critical of facial expressions, but sometimes we just create for the love of it and I just go with the flow! I think if you look back over my portfolio there is variety of looks throughout my work.
Pauline is gorgeous and very talented, I’m sure there were some pictures with her mouth closed but I really loved these images and decided to publish these ones! (:
