Photographed in the heart of the ubud botanical gardens. On the morning of this shoot we awoke early, greeted by the warm, sticky air and full of excitement to be meeting some local girls. To be honest we weren’t too sure if anyone would show up… we had posted a casting call with a meeting place and time on the Rookie Magazine instagram for anyone who might like to be photographed. After our usual delicious pancake breakfast, w jumped on our scooters, heart’s full of excitement and bags full of Kelsey Genna’s pretty wedding dresses. We were so lucky that day, three gorgeous girls came to be photographed and another who is a very talented stylist. The two girls who modelled for me were so lovely and so naturally talented for never having stepped in front of a camera before (and oh my were there lots of cameras! we were all running around wildly taking pictures.) This shoot was just a little bit of fun, nothing serious. It was a day filled with giggles and stealing each others models to run off and photograph in the lush, green surroundings.
