last week i had the chance to meet and photograph with a very talented photographer, caitlin worthington. her pictures are made up from magic dust and daydreams, each dripping with rich colour and full of life.
after first talking online, i soon began planning our shoot. i deciding upon a rose garden for our location and i spent late nights sewing pretty dresses and skirts from my vintage collection. originally i had planned two sisters to be our models but due to unforeseen circumstances we were left panicking early morning of the shoot model-less. by mere chance, a lovely friend carolyn knew the perfect girl for the job. i picked cait our new model up from the train station and instantly i was struck by her fresh-faced beauty. we couldn’t have asked for a more lovely and kind makeup artist than sheran, who had me smiling and giggling all day long.
i have been lucky enough to meet so many talented photographers this year and to have the chance to work alongside caitlin was better than a dream.
the day was warm and full of sunshine, it was everything i had hoped it would be and more.
